Still.Dependant

Chor. Hanschitz & Beierer

Touring work with Hanschitz & Beierer at ZIRKUS ON — Vienna, Freiburg, Salzburg, and Berlin.

ZIRKUS ON · Tour

A full-length dance-circus work built around the Cyr Wheel as trio instrument, spatial object, and co-performer — investigating the seductive dependency between bodies and things. Three performers and one wheel move between control, surrender, and sensual utopia, drawing on contact improvisation and circus technique. Premiered at ON THE EDGE Festival Vienna, November 2024, with subsequent performances in Freiburg, Salzburg, and Berlin.

Salas — A Working Tale

Chor. Darko Radosavljev

Choreographic collaboration with Darko Radosavljev at tanzhaus nrw, Düsseldorf.

tanzhaus nrw, Düsseldorf

Darko Radosavljev excavates the mythology of physical labour that shaped his family's migration from Yugoslavia to Germany, centering on the 'Salaš' — the Serbian field hut where agricultural workers lived. What could not be inhabited in body is inhabited through movement: memory becomes choreography. Linda contributed as choreographic collaborator and dramaturg, working closely with Radosavljev at tanzhaus nrw Düsseldorf.

Wohin?, im Puls · Blickwechsel · Cage Project

Chor. Henrietta Horn

Ongoing collaborations with Henrietta Horn in Essen and at PACT Zollverein.

Essen · PACT Zollverein

Three years of sustained collaboration with Henrietta Horn — a defining figure of German contemporary dance and longtime co-director of the Folkwang Tanzstudio alongside Pina Bausch. The work ranged from improvisation research (im Puls) to score-driven ensemble pieces at PACT Zollverein, one of the great industrial cultural venues in Europe. Horn's movement language — dynamic, built from close listening — left a lasting imprint on Brodhag's own practice as a maker.

Le Sacre du Printemps · Wind von West · Tannhäuser Bacchanal

Chor. Pina Bausch

Performed three iconic Pina Bausch works at Opernhaus Wuppertal, Aalto Theater Essen, and the Juilliard School New York.

Wuppertal · Essen · NYC

To mark the 40th anniversary of Tanztheater Wuppertal, Brodhag was selected to perform reconstructions of three foundational Pina Bausch works — including Wind von West, unperformed since 1979. Rehearsals unfolded across two continents: Wuppertal, Essen, and the Juilliard School New York. To perform this repertoire was to enter a living transmission — body to body, from those who had danced with Bausch herself.

Chor. Premiere 2026

Choreographic research currently in development for a 2026 premiere. La F explores borders, thresholds, and the negotiation of belonging — the invisible lines that divide, and the bodies that cross, resist, or dissolve them.

Choreographic and dramaturgical collaboration with Darko Radosavljev at tanzhaus nrw, Düsseldorf.

Chor. tanzhaus nrw, Düsseldorf

As choreographic collaborator and dramaturg, Brodhag worked alongside Darko Radosavljev to shape the movement landscape of this deeply personal solo — a work about migration, labour, and the body's capacity to hold what history cannot. Premiered at tanzhaus nrw Düsseldorf, May 2024.

Choreography · Performance · Production

A duet with Léa Thomen — shown at Festival tanzinwinterthur and Festival Les Rencontres Chorégraphiques in Casablanca.

Chor. tanzinwinterthur · Casablanca

A duet with Léa Thomen tracing the threshold between light and shadow — those zones inside a body that remain unnamed, cast aside, or concealed. The work moves between fragility and explosion, tenderness and precision, drawing on the long creative partnership of Brodhag and Thomen. Selected for Festival tanzinwinterthur (Switzerland) and Festival Les Rencontres Chorégraphiques de Casablanca (Morocco, 2023).

Chor. Maschinenhaus Essen · Jarny

A tribute to goddesses, demons, and the long-submerged history of femininity: three dancers and a musician search through forgotten memory, celebrating what patriarchal culture has tried to erase. Co-authored with Léa Thomen and Cie HorizonVertical, the work was awarded the TanzPlan Ost Choreography Prize 2018 — one of the most significant recognitions for young choreographers in the Swiss-German dance field.
